- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1/2 banana, sliced
- 1 tablespoon chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, unsweetened cocoa powder, vanilla protein powder, and chia seeds. Stir until evenly mixed.
- Add the milk and maple syrup to the dry ingredients. Stir thoroughly until the cocoa powder and protein powder are fully blended.
- Transfer the mixture into a glass jar or storage container.
- Cover the container and place it in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours or overnight so the oats soften and thicken.
- Before serving, stir the oats to refresh the creamy texture.
- Top with sliced banana and chocolate chips.
- Serve chilled and enjoy directly from the jar.
Notes
- If the oats are too thick in the morning, add a small splash of milk and stir.
- Add banana slices just before serving to keep them fresh.
- Chocolate protein powder can be used for an extra rich flavor.
- The oats can be prepared up to three days in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
