Description

Chocolate Ganache Gooey Brownies are ultra-rich and fudgy treats layered with a silky chocolate ganache topping—perfect for satisfying any intense chocolate craving.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • For the ganache:
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. Whisk in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  6. While brownies cool, heat cream in a small saucepan until simmering. Pour over chocolate chips and let sit for 2 minutes.
  7. Stir ganache until smooth, then add vanilla extract.
  8. Pour ganache over cooled brownies and spread evenly. Chill until ganache is set, about 30 minutes.
  9. Slice and serve at room temperature for maximum gooeyness.
