- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- For the ganache:
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- Whisk in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- While brownies cool, heat cream in a small saucepan until simmering. Pour over chocolate chips and let sit for 2 minutes.
- Stir ganache until smooth, then add vanilla extract.
- Pour ganache over cooled brownies and spread evenly. Chill until ganache is set, about 30 minutes.
- Slice and serve at room temperature for maximum gooeyness.
