Description

Chocolate Chip Turtle Pudding Cookies are soft, chewy cookies packed with chocolate chips, gooey caramel bits, and crunchy pecans, all made extra moist with instant pudding mix. A decadent twist on classic chocolate chip cookies, perfect for satisfying any sweet tooth.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 (3.4 oz) box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup caramel bits or chopped soft caramels
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and pudding mix. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips, caramel bits, and chopped pecans.
  7. Scoop dough by rounded tablespoons onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are golden and centers are set.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • Do not overbake—cookies will continue to firm up as they cool.
  • Chill dough for 30 minutes if you prefer thicker cookies.
  • Drizzle with melted chocolate and caramel for extra indulgence.
