Description

  • 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Cut the puff pastry sheets into even squares and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Spoon a small amount of the cream cheese mixture into the center of each pastry square.
  5. Add a spoonful of cherry pie filling on top of the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Beat the egg and brush the edges of the pastry with the egg wash.
