Description

This Cheesecake Crescent Rolls Casserole is a rich and creamy dessert with layers of flaky crescent roll dough and a sweet cream cheese filling, topped with a buttery cinnamon sugar crust. Perfect for holidays, gatherings, or anytime you need a quick and delicious treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (8-ounce) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar, divided
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the baking dish, sealing any seams.
  3. In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough in the baking dish.
  5. Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and lay it over the cream cheese layer, pressing to seal seams.
  6. Pour the melted butter evenly over the top layer of dough.
  7. Mix the remaining 1/2 cup sugar with the cinnamon and sprinkle it generously over the buttered dough.
  8. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
  9. Allow to cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing and serving. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

  • For an extra twist, drizzle with honey or chocolate sauce before serving.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • You can use low-fat cream cheese for a lighter version.
