- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup milk
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners or lightly grease with nonstick spray.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs, then add oil, milk, and vanilla. Mix well.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spoon the batter evenly into the muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 full. Top with extra chocolate chips if desired.
- Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let muffins cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
