Description

Brownie Cheesecake is the perfect dessert for chocolate and cheesecake lovers. This indulgent treat features a rich, fudgy brownie base topped with a smooth, creamy cheesecake layer—baked together for a heavenly combo that’s both decadent and irresistible.


Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix (for 8x8 pan size), plus ingredients on box (usually eggs, oil, and water)
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Line a 9-inch springform pan or 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare brownie batter according to package instructions. Pour into prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 20 minutes and remove from oven (it will not be fully set).
  3. While brownie base bakes, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla, sour cream, and salt until just combined.
  5. Pour cheesecake mixture over the partially baked brownie layer and gently smooth the top.
  6. Return pan to oven and bake for another 35–40 minutes, or until the center is just set and edges are slightly golden.
  7. Turn off oven, crack door open, and let cheesecake cool inside for 30 minutes. Then chill in refrigerator for at least 4 hours before slicing.
