Description

Golden, flaky broccoli cheese puffs filled with a creamy, savory mixture of cheddar, cream cheese, and tender broccoli, perfect as a snack or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh broccoli, finely chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 100 grams cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 whole egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped broccoli, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well mixed.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into even squares.
  4. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each square, fold, and seal the edges.
  5. Brush with beaten egg and bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden and puffed.
