Description

Berrylicious Strawberry Crunch Cheesecake is a luscious dessert combining creamy cheesecake with a crunchy strawberry topping that bursts with fresh berry flavor. Perfect for celebrations or a sweet treat anytime.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 cup strawberry jam
  • 1 cup crushed cornflakes or crispy cereal for crunch topping
  • Optional: whipped cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar and vanilla, mixing well.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition until just combined.
  4. Mix in sour cream until smooth.
  5. Pour batter over crust in the pan.
  6. Bake for 50–60 minutes until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
  7. Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Before serving, spread strawberry jam over the cheesecake and top with sliced fresh strawberries and crushed cornflakes for crunch.
  9. Serve with whipped cream if desired.

Notes

  • Use fresh, ripe strawberries for the best flavor.
  • Ensure cream cheese is fully softened for a smooth batter.
  • Allow cheesecake to chill thoroughly for perfect slicing.
  • Try substituting raspberry jam or mixed berries for variety.
