Description

Tender beef bites slowly simmered in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for a comforting and flavorful meal any day of the week.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds beef chuck or sirloin, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat for 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Season beef cubes with salt and pepper. Add olive oil to the hot pan, then sear beef in batches until browned on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, lower heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Return seared beef to the pan and toss to coat in the garlic butter mixture.
  5. Lower heat, cover, and let simmer gently for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add a splash of water or broth if the sauce reduces too much.
  6. Uncover, increase heat slightly to thicken the sauce, and stir in chopped parsley.
  7. Spoon over mashed potatoes, rice, or crusty bread and serve hot.

  • Use a marbled cut like chuck for extra tenderness.
  • Fresh garlic and real butter give the richest flavor.
