Chewy, rich, and naturally sweet, these Banana Peanut Butter Balls are the perfect no-bake treat. With just a handful of ingredients, they’re easy to whip up and even easier to enjoy.


Ingredients

  • 1 large ripe banana, mashed
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup melted chocolate (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons crushed peanuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mash the banana until smooth.
  2. Stir in peanut butter, honey, vanilla extract, and salt until fully combined.
  3. Add rolled oats and chocolate chips. Mix until everything is evenly incorporated.
  4. Line a plate or baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Use a spoon or scoop to form mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the sheet.
  6. Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or freeze for 15 minutes.
  7. If desired, dip each ball in melted chocolate and sprinkle with crushed peanuts.
  8. Return to fridge to set chocolate before serving.

Notes

  • Use very ripe bananas for best sweetness and texture.
  • Wet your hands lightly when rolling to prevent sticking.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for longer shelf life.
