Ingredients
Scale
- 12 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls preferred)
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, mayonnaise, cheddar, and mozzarella until well combined.
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish and slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping them connected if possible.
- Place the bottom halves of the buns in the baking dish and spread the chicken mixture evenly over them. Top with the top halves of the buns.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter and stir in garlic powder, dried parsley, and salt.
- Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the buns. Cover the dish loosely with foil.
- Bake covered for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 8–10 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
- Let cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken to save time and boost flavor.
- Try adding chili flakes or jalapeños for a spicy twist.
- Lightly toasting the bottom buns before assembling can prevent sogginess.
