- 450 grams (1 pound) ground beef
- 10 small flour tortillas
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup salsa
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Add garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, salt, and black pepper and stir well.
- Remove the skillet from heat and mix the shredded cheddar cheese into the beef mixture.
- Place several tablespoons of the beef mixture onto each tortilla.
- Roll the tortillas tightly and place them seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops of the tortillas lightly with olive oil.
- Bake for about 18 minutes until the tortillas are golden and crispy.
- Allow them to cool slightly before serving.
- Serve warm with sour cream and salsa for dipping.
Notes
- Warm the tortillas slightly before filling to prevent cracking while rolling.
- Do not overfill the tortillas to keep them tightly rolled during baking.
- Reheat leftovers in the oven or air fryer to maintain crispiness.
- The filling can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated until ready to assemble.
