Ingredients

Scale
  • 250 grams angel hair pasta
  • 300 grams raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 50 grams parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Prep all ingredients by chopping asparagus, mincing garlic, and measuring everything.
  3. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add garlic and cook briefly, then add shrimp and cook until pink, followed by asparagus.
  5. Cook angel hair pasta until al dente, then transfer it to the skillet with a bit of pasta water.
  6. Add lemon juice, parmesan, parsley, salt, and pepper, then toss everything together until well combined.
  7. Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

  • Do not overcook the shrimp to keep them tender.
  • Reserve pasta water to help create a silky sauce.
  • Add chili flakes for a spicy twist if desired.
