- 250 grams angel hair pasta
- 300 grams raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 50 grams parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Prep all ingredients by chopping asparagus, mincing garlic, and measuring everything.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic and cook briefly, then add shrimp and cook until pink, followed by asparagus.
- Cook angel hair pasta until al dente, then transfer it to the skillet with a bit of pasta water.
- Add lemon juice, parmesan, parsley, salt, and pepper, then toss everything together until well combined.
- Serve immediately while warm.
Notes
- Do not overcook the shrimp to keep them tender.
- Reserve pasta water to help create a silky sauce.
- Add chili flakes for a spicy twist if desired.
