This quick and flavorful 5-minute pizza sauce is made with pantry staples like tomato sauce, tomato paste, garlic, and herbs. It’s the perfect base for homemade pizza, calzones, or even as a dipping sauce for breadsticks.

- 1 (6-ounce / 170 g) can tomato paste
- 1–2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp sugar or honey
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the tomato sauce and tomato paste until smooth.
- Add the minced garlic, oregano, basil, sugar (or honey), salt, and black pepper.
- Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Use immediately on pizza, calzones, or as a dipping sauce, or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.

- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a splash of olive oil.
