  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 lb breakfast sausage
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk (for scrambled eggs)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
  • Butter or oil for greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet or pizza pan.
  2. Unroll crescent dough and press into the pan, sealing seams to form a single crust. Bake for 8 minutes until lightly golden.
  3. Meanwhile, in a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and crumbled. Do not drain.
  4. Sprinkle flour over sausage and cook for 1 minute. Gradually stir in milk and cook until thickened, 3–5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. In a separate pan, whisk eggs with 2 tbsp milk, then scramble until just set.
  6. Remove crust from oven. Spread sausage gravy evenly over crust, then layer with scrambled eggs and shredded cheese.
  7. Return to oven and bake for another 8–10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Top with green onions if desired. Slice and serve warm.
