- 450 grams chicken, cut into small bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup Thai basil leaves
- 2 to 3 whole red chili peppers, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 small shallots, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cups cooked white rice
Instructions
- Heat a wok or large skillet over medium high heat until hot.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and sugar, then set aside.
- Add vegetable oil to the hot pan and let it heat up.
- Add garlic and shallots, stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant, then add sliced chilies.
- Add chicken and cook until browned and fully cooked.
- Pour in the sauce and stir well to coat the chicken evenly.
- Add Thai basil leaves and toss until wilted and fragrant.
- Serve hot over cooked white rice.
